CRIM 255 — Criminal Law and Procedure

This course is a comprehensive analysis of the criminal law statutes with an emphasis on the crimes under federal and state jurisdictions, statutes as to the classification, elements of proof, intent, conspiracy, responsibility, parties and defense. The second half of the course deals with machinery by which justice is administered. Typical criminal proceedings, from institution to enforcement of judgment are examined in detail, including the jurisdiction, organization and constitution of the several tribunals, administrative as well as judicial.
