CRIM 281 — Criminal Investigation Theory

The nature of criminal investigation is explored as a timeless and dynamic field of scientific study. It examines all aspects and fundamentals of criminal investigation. A major focus of this course is on the responsibility of conducting investigations within the framework of the Constitution. Students must apply knowledge learned in lectures to "crime scene" labs. This course serves as the capstone for the A.S. in Criminal Justice if CRIM-280: Criminal Investigation is not offered. Code 3 course fee.
