CSIT 240 — Ethical Hacking: Hacker Techniques and Tools
This course explores the fundamental concepts of hacker techniques and tools which are used in the field of Ethical Hacking. Topics to be covered include the planning, sanctioning, assurance and execution of an ethical hack, including an understanding of the critical categories of attack techniques that would be used. The course will also review the various software, application, network, and platform vulnerabilities that would be the focus of the attacks. Lab activities will provide students with practical experiences in ethical hacking. Open lab time is required. Code 3 course fee.
