ENGL 223 — African American Literature
The course includes short stories, slave narratives, poetry, drama, the novel, beginning with the writings from the 1700s to the present day, exploring the struggles, dreams, artistry, wit, conceptions, and perceptions of authors and of voices too long silenced. Code 1 course fee.
