EMS 2054 - Paramedic Care IV, OB and Pediatric Emergencies EMS 2054 - Paramedic Care IV, OB and Pediatric Emergencies 4 Credit Hours Course Description: This course provides an in depth study of cardiovascular emergencies. Topics include assessment and treatment of cardiac emergencies, cardiac pharmacology, and patient care. This course introduces the study of cardiovascular emergencies concerning ECG interpretation, including basic 12-lead interpretation. Topics include anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, electrophysiology, and rhythm interpretation. Upon completion, students will be able to manage the cardiac patient and recognize and interpret rhythms: Including labs and clinical/field shifts.
Prerequisites: EMS2044
