EMS 2103 - Anatomy and Physiology for EMS EMS 2103 - Anatomy and Physiology for EMS 3 Credit Hours Course Description: This course covers the concepts of Anatomy and Physiology of the human body including body systems, cellular structure, cellular physiology, and pathophysiology concepts among others. Also covered in the course is basic medical terminology. Emphasis is placed on each body system’s structure, processes, and vocabulary, as required in Emergency Medical Sciences. Pre or Corequisites: EMS 1324 Assessment and Pharmacology (Recommended to be taken at the same time as this course, but is not required)
