HUM 2203 - Internship - Philanthropy HUM 2203 - Internship - Philanthropy 3 Credit Hours Course Description: Students participating in the Philanthropy Internship will work in a professional nonprofit or philanthropic setting alongside practitioners in areas such as fundraising, grant writing, volunteer coordination, program development, advocacy, or community engagement. The internship provides hands-on experience that connects classroom learning to real-world practice and s students develop professional skills, ethical awareness, and a deeper understanding of philanthropy’s role in addressing social issues. Students are encouraged to complete their internship through the OCCC Foundation or an OCCC affiliate.
