OTA 1125 - Fundamentals of OTA Practice OTA 1125 - Fundamentals of OTA Practice 5 Credit Hours Course Description: This course offers a multifaceted exploration of occupational therapy, blending study and discussion to immerse students in various aspects of the field. Students will gain knowledge of occupational therapy practice and history and apply practical application of theoretical knowledge and core documents (OTPF-4, Code of Ethics, Core Values, Activity Analysis, Occupational Profile Frames of References etc.). Additionally, through study, discussion, and classroom presentations, students will explore human conditions, social determinants of health, and their impact on individual occupations, families, and communities, fostering a deeper understanding of the holistic nature of occupational therapy practice.
