PTA 1312 - Practicum I PTA 1312 - Practicum I 2 Credit Hours Course Description: The student will complete a minimum of four full-time weeks at an assigned physical therapy practice. Under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant, the student will assume patient care responsibilities appropriate to a physical therapist assistant student. Students will provide safe, effective, ethical, and legal care while demonstrating professional behaviors aligned with the values of the physical therapy profession and CAPTE standards. 5 or better.
