Students will synthesize knowledge from their entire academic program while developing advanced professional skills in leadership, mentoring, quality improvement, and awareness of social determinants of health and healthcare disparities. During this course, students will participate in intraprofessional and interprofessional collaboration activities. The course emphasizes preparation for professional practice through self-reflection, collaboration, career planning, community engagement, and demonstration of entry-level competency across all domains of PTA practice. Through case-based learning, professional development activities, mentoring experiences, and a comprehensive capstone project, students will demonstrate readiness for entry-level PTA practice.
