SLPA 1091 - Guided Observations SLPA 1091 - Guided Observations 1 Credit Hours Course Description: Through video and clinical site participation, the student will engage in guided observation experiences designed to prepare students to describe and summarize b behaviors relevant to the study of communication sciences and disorders. Students will be required to complete a minimum 25 hours of guided clinical observations under the supervision of a speech-language pathologist who holds a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
