ARH144 — Introduction to Sustainable Construction

Credits: An introduction to the theory and principles of innovative sustainable construction with a focus on residential construction. The course takes an integrated design and ecological systems approach to high performance green building. Students learn how to reduce the ecological impact of the built environment using cutting-edge best practices. Topics include climate change, green building principles, performance standards and measurement, and rating systems including LEED for Homes.
