ATC202 — Automotive Suspension and Steering Systems
Credits: This course examines the design, construction, and operation of basic vehicular suspension systems, alignment geometry, wheel and tire fundamentals and steering systems. The emphasis is on service and electronic diagnostic procedures and these topics are discussed in detail. Laboratory exercises consist of wheel balancing and alignment, proper suspension and steering system service practices, suspension component diagnosis and replacement, troubleshooting techniques and related chassis services. 2-wheel/4-wheel alignment techniques are explored in detail.
