ATC223 — Hybrid, Electric, and Alternative Fuel Vehicles
Credits: The course is designed to introduce the student into the theory and systems applications of modern hybrid, electric and alternativefuel vehicles, hydrogen and natural gas. All vehicle systems will be covered, HEV Technology, Hybrid Engines and Transmissions, Electric Machines, Power Inverter Systems, DC-DC Converter Systems, Hybrid Braking and Steering Systems, and Battery Pack Technology. Emphasis in laboratory is placed on vehicle systems and safety. This course has an accompanying lab. Learning
