CIN203 — Film and Literature
Credits: This course examines the mutually informing relationship between literature and film. Students will engage in reading, discussion, and written analysis of literature as well as viewing, discussion, and written analysis of film. Particular attention will be paid to transmutation across media to develop a comparative analysis of the art forms that recognizes their distinct formal dimensions as well as the interconnections between their aesthetic, economic, historical, socio-political, cultural, and technological contexts.
