CIN204 — Global Cinema

Credits: This course examines global cinema as an artistic, political, and cultural phenomenon. Students will engage in viewing, discussion, and written analysis of global films from a variety of historical, national, and socio-political contexts, both historically and comparatively, paying particular attention to the development of film language, aesthetics, and technology over time, as well as the formation of national or cultural film styles, genres, and idioms.
