COM251 — News Writing

Credits: This is an introductory course in the basics of news reporting and writing, focusing on gathering information, story and sentence structure, accuracy, Associated Press style and meeting deadlines. Students will write a variety of publication-ready news stories, including college-related events and student public interest stories. Designation(s): Liberal Arts Learning
