DSP164 — DSP Field Instruction and Seminar

Credits: This course is a required supervised practice experience enabling the student to develop competency for the delivery of social work, alcohol and substance abuse counseling, mental health services, and direct support professional work. This learning experience provides the student with opportunities to connect theory and concepts from the classroom to a Human Services work environment. Students will complete a 100-hour internship at an approved site. A medical examination, tuberculin test, background check and/or fingerprint review may be required. Pre/ Learning
