EDU281 — Curriculum Development

Credits: Curriculum Development explores the theoretical foundations for setting educational goals and designing developmentally appropriate, inclusive curriculum for children from birth through age eight, with a focus on preschool-aged children in group settings. Emphasis is placed on culturally responsive practices, intentional teaching, and creating meaningful learning experiences across all developmental domains. Students will engage with current models for planning, supervising, and evaluating early childhood curriculum while aligning with national standards and best practices. Students will complete a 50-hour field placement in addition to their coursework.
