ENS212 — Mechanics of Materials

Credits: First course in the development of the mechanics of deformable bodies, primarily for engineering students. Topics include: theories of stress and strain, deformations, Hooke’s Law, axial loads, shearing loads, bending loads, design of beams, Mohr’s Circle, shear and bending moment diagrams, elastic stability, and deflection of beams.
