IND216 — Design Studio: Residential

Credits: Students are expected to apply their knowledge of basic design principles, concepts, and processes to analyze and solve residential interior design problems. Students study and apply principles of programming, space planning, and elements of design to create functional, attractive, accessible and sustainable residential interiors. Special emphasis is placed on kitchen and bath design and NKBA guidelines and standards. Oral presentation and manual and digital graphic 2D and 3D techniques are utilized to communicate project solutions. This class meets 6 hours per week.
