MUS103 — Music Appreciation I
Credits: This course is designed to introduce students to the basic elements of music with an emphasis on what to listen for in all music. The styles of important composers of the 18th and 19th centuries will be compared and discussed in relation to the cultural and historical background of the times in which they lived, as well as their impact and influence on the many styles of music we listen to today.
