MUS120 — Class Piano IV

Credits: Class Piano IV is the fourth course in a four-semester sequenced class piano curriculum designed for non-keyboard music students. The objective of this curriculum is to develop a wide range of functional keyboard skills to prepare students to utilize the piano/keyboard in their future music careers. Included in the course are studies in fundamental keyboard skills (scales/arpeggios/chords/progressions), transposition, harmonization, accompanying, repertoire, sight-reading, improvisation, and score-reading (choir/orchestra/band).
