COM 223 - Screenwriting COM 223 - Screenwriting Credits/Units: 3 cr. This course provides a foundation for understanding the constructs of story, character, plot/theme, and script development. Students are exposed to methods of screenwriting for both television and film. The course will focus on the basics of structure and will offer opportunities to evaluate published work as well as original script development.
