DNT 106 - Oral Health Education DNT 106 - Oral Health Education Credits/Units: 2 cr. (Spring Only) Students develop skills in health promotion and disease prevention, focused primarily at the clinical, private practice setting. Topics include principles of client education, communication, psychology of oral health care, client management, oral physiotherapy, client assessment for preventive education and treatment, tobacco cessation and prevention, therapeutics and topics in advanced caries prevention. Didactic concepts and clinical application are coordinated with clinical practice. Specific health education/preventive topics are assigned.
