ENG 120 - Introduction to Mythology ENG 120 - Introduction to Mythology Credits/Units: 3 cr. This course introduces the major myths of the Greeks and Romans, examines the definitions and functions of mythology, and attends carefully to several of the most important and influential classical works, such as Homer’s The Odyssey and Ovid’s Metamorphoses. In addition, the course provides interdisciplinary background valuable for further courses in literature, history, the visual arts, and philosophy, as well as increases cultural literacy in general.
