OFT103 — Medical Coding
OFT 103 - Medical Coding OFT 103 - Medical Coding Credits/Units: 3 cr. (Spring Only) This course will introduce students to the characteristics and conventions of the current CPT and ICD-CM coding. Format and correct coding practices will be taught. The importance of using accurate coding conventions to maximize reimbursement in the medical office will be stressed.
Prerequisites: MAT040, MAT010, MAT020, MAT092
