Designed for students who are interested in changing lifestyle, eating and exercise habits, this course emphasizes the practical application of current information relating to weight loss, physical fitness improvement, weight control and proper nutritional habits. A physical assessment is given at the beginning and end of the course and includes the following components: flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, height, weight, body-fat percentage, grip strength, girth, body density and an individualized exercise prescription. Note: (1/2 semester each)
