This course aims to give the student the basic techniques of hiking as well as knowledge of map and compass reading. This course aims to give the student a basic knowledge of how to conduct one’s self in the wilderness to achieve mental and physical betterment, while remaining safe and promoting respect for nature. Note: (1/2 semester each)
