THE 101 - Introduction to Theatre THE 101 - Introduction to Theatre Credits/Units: 3 cr. This course is designed to provide introductory knowledge and greater appreciation of dramatic production, performance, and literature. Readings and lectures will focus on the relationship between theatrical theory and practice, the predominant artists and movements throughout theatrical history, and the diverse creative/production roles fundamental to theater. Students will analyze major works of dramatic literature, as well as attend a live theatrical performance. (GE 7A) General Education Designation: (G8A)
