The EMS student will learn about the pathophysiology, disease processes and assessment skills of medical patients with gynecological, obstetric, geriatric, gastroenterological, urological, nephrological, and hematological disorders. Students will also learn about the pathophysiology, disease processes, and assessment skills of chronically ill, abused, assaulted, substance abused, and patients exposed to environmental trauma. Prerequisite(s): EMMS 1103
