HLCA1152 — Electrocardiograph Technology Practicum
1 hr(s). This course will prepare students for their role as Electrocardiograph Technicians. Students will demonstrate professionalism, professional communication, and adhere to healthcare policies and procedures in a clinical setting. Students are required to complete at least 40 of clinical training, completion of ten electrocardiograms performed at a clinical site, and observation of Holter monitoring and cardiac stress testing. Hours may vary depending on clinical site. Required. Prerequisite(s): HLCA 1150 - Electrocardiograph Technology and HLCA 1151 - Electrocardiograph Technology Laboratory Restriction(s): Health Science majors
