INST1043 — Basic Instrum & Process Ctrl
3 hr(s). This course is designed to teach students the basics of industrial instrumentation and process control and final control devices. Topics include temperature, pressure, flow and level measurement and controls as well as final control elements, such as motor speed controls, dampers and valves. The course introduces students to PID control using lab mockups and laptop control units. Prerequisite(s): ENRG 1031 concurrently
