ITTP2202 — Voice-to-Sign Interpreting I

3 hr(s). An introductory course that provides students with an overview of the field of interpreting and the processes involved. The student will learn the components of communication, culture, community and how it applies to rendering a signed message and interpreting. This class meets 45 and two hours for final exams per semester; three hours of lecture per week. Prerequisite(s): AMSL 1114 Restriction(s): Interpreter Training Program and Sign Language Interpreter majors
