LPNC1113 — Mental Health Nurse Clinical Practicum

1 hr(s). This practicum course is designed to provide LPN students with hands-on, clinical experience in the field of mental health nursing. Students will gain essential knowledge and clinical skills to assess, support, and manage patients with various mental health conditions. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the role of the LPN in direct care, the importance of effective communication, and the ability to provide therapeutic interventions within a safe and supportive environment. Successful completion of all laboratory, theoretical, and clinical components are required to receive credit for this course. Prerequisite(s): LPNC 1101, LPNC 1105, LPNC 1107, LPNC 1115, LPNC 1130, LPNC 1131, LPNC 1134, and LPNC 1135 Restriction(s): Licensed Practical Nursing Major
