LPNC1134 — Medical Surgical Nursing II for the Practical Nurse
6 hr(s). This course is designed to deepen students’ understanding and practical skills in the care of patients with complex health conditions. Focusing on a range of physiological systems, students will develop both foundational and advanced competencies in assessing, managing, and intervening in conditions affecting multiple body systems. The course progresses from basic to more complex topics, equipping students with the knowledge and clinical skills necessary to care for patients in a variety of medical-surgical settings. This course is designed to support the development of competent, skilled LPNs who are prepared to work effectively in medical-surgical settings and provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with complex health needs. Successful completion of all laboratory, theoretical, and clinical components are required to receive credit for this course. Restriction(s): Licensed Practical Nursing Major
