MLAB1105 — Clinical Chemistry Techniques

1 hr(s). This course is designed to familiarize students with practical aspects of the clinical laboratory. The course covers laboratory calculations, quality assurance, safety, manual and automated instrumentation, including sample analysis, patient and quality control validation, and patient and quality control charting. Successful completion of this course with “C” or better is required for graduation. Prerequisite(s): MTH 1207 (or higher), CHM 1101 with a grade of “C” or better, and MLAB 1105L concurrently Restriction(s): Medical Laboratory Technology majors
