PHTA1102 — Introduction to Patient Care

2 hr(s). An introduction to basic patient care procedures such as positioning, transferring, ambulating, dressing, fitting ambulation aids, and taking vital signs. Universal Precautions, isolation, and aseptic principles will be presented. Skills in basic note writing will be developed. Prerequisite(s): PHTA 1100 and PHTA 1109 Restriction(s): Physical Therapist Assistant Major
