BIO-2050 — Human Anatomy & Physiology I
This course introduces students to basic human anatomy and physiology principles including the structural organization of the human body, homeostasis and feedback mechanisms. Students study cell structure and function with a focus on transport across the cell membrane, histology and the relationships between structure and function that exist within the integumentary, skeletal, nervous and muscular systems. Students also analyze how these systems the body maintain homeostasis. The laboratory component includes use of histology images, models, skeletons and animal dissection. Course
