BLD-2340 — NCCER Carpentry Level 4
This course provides the fourth and final level of training of the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) curriculum in carpentry. Students gain an understanding of all aspects of the planning process that precedes the start of work on a construction site. They acquire the skills and knowledge required to lay out buildings on a site. They learn the techniques used in the construction of advanced roof, wall and stair systems, oxyfuel cutting and arc welding. Additionally, they learn the communication and problem-solving skills fundamental to crew leadership in the carpentry trade. Successful completion of the course earns students the NCCER Carpentry Level 4 credential. This course is not currently cross-listed with Continuing Education. Course
