BMT-2500 — Introduction to Federal Contracting
This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and principles of the federal procurement system and use of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Topics include the background of federal contracting, careers in contracting, types of contracting, competition, federal acquisition process, small purchase procedures, bids and proposals and the award/protest process.
