This course introduces students to international finance. Students learn about international financial systems, markets, and regulations. Students examine how international financial transactions and investments are conducted and governed. Students also learn about international finance theories and how international financial markets as well as foreign exchange markets operate. Additionally, they discuss which systemic risks and regulatory failures have led to global financial crises and how these can be mitigated in the future. Lastly, students examine how the global financial landscape is influenced by ethical, cultural, environmental, and political dynamics. Course
