FRN-2010 — Intermediate French I

This course is a continuation of FRN-1020 and focuses on skills development of intermediate level skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing French, along with examining cultural elements from the French-speaking world. Students learn vocabulary about a variety of topics, such as art and media, interpersonal relationships, travel and transportation, clothing, health and personal hygiene, technology, environment, society, etc. Students use present, past, future, and conditional tenses to convey ideas with language appropriate for different audiences. Additionally, students use appropriate grammar and vocabulary to write a paragraph. Lastly, students examine how culture and civilization in the French-speaking world compare to and differ from their own culture. Course
