INT-1111 — Programming Logic and Design

This course is an introduction to computer programming concepts with an emphasis on structured program logic and design. Procedural and object-oriented concepts are introduced in this course and students use a variety of software packages to develop flowcharts and pseudo-code. This course does not address a particular programming language, but rather emphasizes problem solving techniques that can be applied to programming in any language. Examples from various programming languages may be used to illustrate concepts. This course contains a lab component and students acquire hands-on skills and practical applications of data validation and internal and external program documentation. This course may also be taken as TEC-653 Programming Logic and Design. Course
