In this course, students explore computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET), and hybrid imaging techniques in depth. Students develop the skills to select appropriate imaging instruments, parameters, and administration techniques for various procedures. Students learn to identify indications and contraindications for imaging, differentiate normal and abnormal tomographic images, and recognize common pathologies. They also study the principles and functions of imaging systems, quality control evaluation, and the impact of patient preparation on imaging
