NUM-2800 — Nuclear Medicine Synthesis

This course is the capstone course for the Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Students synthesize prior learning in order to prepare for the certification exams by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Additionally, students prepare to enter the workforce by creating a resume for an entry-level nuclear medicine technologist job and discovering opportunities for professional development. Finally, students explore opportunities for participation in professional organizations and assess the value such organizations provide to the professional imaging technologist. Create a resume for a nuclear medicine technologist job. Assess the value of professional society membership and participation. Discuss professional development opportunities and requirements for the nuclear medicine technologist.
