This course explores the research, planning, implementation, and evaluation cycle pertaining to news writing in public relations with a focus on writing collateral, including memos, newsletters, advisories, interview materials, and new releases. The course considers strategies, tactics, and public relations law as it applies to different mediums of communication in the context of corporations, the entertainment industry, non-profit organizations, and the political and government field.
