PSC-1010 — Introduction to Astronomy
In this course, students explore the foundations of astronomy. Students examine how the solar system, galaxy, and universe have been perceived throughout history and explore the tools and methods astronomers use. Students investigate the origin, components, and evolution of the solar system (including the planets, moons, and the sun), stars, galaxies, and the universe as a whole. This course fulfills a general education requirement for non-science majors. Course
