TED-1300 — Methods and Materials in Early Childhood Education

This course focuses on developmentally appropriate practices, pedagogical strategies, and appropriate materials for effectively teaching young children. Students plan developmentally appropriate units, lessons, and activities for young children in a variety of settings and content areas. Additional topics include: effective teachers, reflection, play, critical and creative thinking, and assessment. Formerly: ECE-2570. Course
