TED-2801 — Instruction of Reading
Focuses on the teaching of reading from pre-kindergarten through 8 th grade. Students will develop and use a variety of developmentally appropriate word recognition and reading comprehension strategies. Students will also examine a balanced literacy program which fosters phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency. This course is intended for those persons who have a bachelor’s degree and are seeking initial teacher certification and for teachers seeking recertification. Formerly: EDU 2110. Course
